MARIA VON RIDELSTEIN (1884-1970) Floral Still Life - Oil on canvas 25" x 28" Maria Von Ridelstein was a founder and past president of the Society of Western Artists and a member of both the American Watercolor Society and the Society of Women Artists. Born in Germany, she studied in Rome, Paris and Germany. She taught Art in Japan, Chile and San Francisco. She taught at the College of Art & Crafts in Oakland.
